Commitment To The Lord.

As children of God, we must make a commitment to the Lord, please keep your commitment even when there is storm that is raging in your life, even when you do not understand His words or commandments. For example, Joshua told the children of Israel, but as for me and my house we shall serve the Lord.

“If serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.” (Joshua 24:15) (NIV).

Commitment:

I was confronted by my husband saying, I should stop praying for people, stop serving the Lord and stop traveling out for ministries, “If you do not stop, I will marry another wife.” I said go ahead because I have a commitment to serve the Lord.

“Jesus said to the crowd and His disciples, “Very truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you.” (John 6:53) (NIV).

Again, Jesus told His disciples, you must eat my flesh and drink my blood, because of His comment, many of His disciples left Him because the saying was difficult for them to understand. “How can we eat His flesh and drink His blood” Jesus asked the twelve disciples; will you too go? Peter said, where do we go? to whom do we turn? (A commitment).

Will you turn your back on the Lord because of His sayings, or because your prayers have not been met? A pause in your demands is not a no, because He is rearranging.

Please do not turn your back on the Lord, for He loves you, and He has a great plan for your life. But you must trust in the Lord, have faith in Him, love Him and listen.

Amen.
