Brothers and sisters, we must proclaim Jesus Christ, His goodness, His kindness, The Cross, The shed Blood, His suffering, His bruised body, His Love, His Compassionate heart, His Mercy and His Resurrection. Hallelujah!
We must be prepared and organized just like the five virgins whose lamps were trimmed. (Matthew 25:7) in the same manner the church is to prepare itself for the coming of Jesus Christ. “Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.” Revelation 21:2) Are we ready for our bridegroom? Like a virgin? Ready for Jesus Christ who is our first true love?
Do we genuinely love Jesus? Do we proclaim His goodness? What He has done for us? We must glorify His name.
The lepers that were cleansed, only one of them returned to give thanks.
The Book of Matthew 12:43-45 tells us that “When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none. Then he says, I will return to my house from which I came. And when he comes, he finds it empty, swept, and put in order. Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first. So, shall it also be with this wicked generation.”
The Book of Luke 8:22-39 tells us the story of the demon possessed man, and thathe wanted to follow Jesus after his deliverance, but Jesus said, “Go home to your friends and tell them what wonderful things the LORD has done for you, and how He has had compassion on you.” (Are you proclaiming all the good things that the LORD has done for you?)
And the man who was demon possessed departed and began to proclaim in Decapolis all that Jesus had done for him; and all marveled.” (Decapolis in Greek means ten cities).
The demon possessed man travelled to ten different cities proclaiming Jesus Christ, how Jesus had compassion on him and healed him. Jesus’ mercy upon his life, His Love, goodness, and kindness. (He remained delivered, set free from demons).
This
is one of my daily thanksgivings and praise. Praise the Lord, my
soul;
all that is within me, praise His Holy name.
Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits—who
forgives all our sins
and heals all your diseases, who redeems our life from the pit/destructions
and crowns us with love and compassion/loving kindness and tender mercies, who
satisfies our mouth with good things so that our youth is
renewed like the eagle’s.” (Please
read Psalm 103:1-5) Praise the Lord.
“You are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit.” (Romans 8:9) Please “Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.” Galatians 5:16). Scripture says, “Put on our Lord Jesus Christ and make no provision for the flesh to fulfil its lust.” (Romans 13:14). Brothers and sisters, please walk in the Spirit, to quench the lust of the flesh, and focus on Jesus because “You are a new creation; old things have passed away; behold all things have become new.” 2nd Corinthians 5:17).
Ephesians 4:22-24) (NIV) “You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, the old man, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires/ways; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self/new man created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.” (Christ like) we must be Christ like, daily transformation, spiritual transformation. “Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” (Romans 12:1-2). Brothers and sisters, please renew the way you talk, the way you think, please kill that old man in you. Ask Jesus to help you. Our compassionate Jesus will help you.
What have you been able to let go regarding your character?
-Have you been able to let go of pride? Lust?
-Have you been able to let go of unforgiveness?
-Have you been able to let go of verbal abuse? Physical abuse?
-lies? Condescending ways? Gossiping? Anger? Deceit?
-Question, what have you been able to let go?
Please brothers and sisters pray, prepare, trim your lamps, and proclaim His goodness for He is coming soon. Amen!!
