The New Birth.
Born again, or to experience the “New Birth” is a phrase that refers to “spiritual rebirth” In Christianity it refers to being or becoming a Christian, which is linked to baptism. have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, allow Jesus to be your Lord and Savior.
A Jewish ruler called Nicodemus, a Pharisee, a teacher, an expert in Jewish law visited Jesus at night. Nicodemus recognized that Jesus was from God, the miracles that Jesus performed made Nicodemus so curious, he wanted to know Jesus better.
But Jesus began to teach about the spiritual nature of the Kingdom of God. Jesus declared, “I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.” But Nicodemus asked, how can a man be born when he is old? surely he cannot enter a second time into his mother’s womb to be born!’ Jesus answered, “I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit.”
Jesus was not off topic, Nicodemus is talking about miracles and Jesus is discussing the Kingdom of God. Nicodemus was hungry, he wanted to know more about Jesus and His miracles. Nicodemus is hungry to see and understand the Kingdom of God. Hallelujah!
Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. The Holy Spirit is the breath of God.
Jesus said, you know well enough how the wind blows this way and that, you hear it rustling through the trees, but you have no idea where it comes from or where it is going, that is the way it is with everyone born from above by the wind of God, the Spirit of God.” Hallelujah!! “Jesus said, I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like a little child, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 18:3)
Most of us know too much, we are too educated. We ask too many questions. How did that happen? Nature, Science. Too much science. Jesus said carry your cross and follow Me. Be like a baby, for such is the Kingdom of God. Hallelujah. Just follow Jesus, He will explain all things to you.
- The Kingdom is spiritually discerned, that is, you cannot see it or grasp it spiritually unless you are “born from above,” unless God enables you to see it.
- The Kingdom is spiritually entered, unless you are changed spiritually. Surrender and Submit to God Almighty, totally and allow Him to open you apart and deep clean you. He takes away the bad and gives you the good. A new creation. You will never see the Kingdom of God.
The Kingdom of God is hidden from unbelievers.
‘Satan, the god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Jesus Christ, who is the image of God.” (2 Corinthians 4:4) There is a veil on the hearts of every unbeliever.
No one born of God will continue to sin, because the Holy Spirit will always convict you when you sin, you must stop your old ways of doing things.
The Love of God:
“To all who received Him, as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believed in his name.” “Children born of God.” (John1:12)
“Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the Father loves His child as well.” (1 John 5:1)
In Conclusion:
(1st Peter 1:22-23) affirms. “Seeing that you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through, the Spirit unto unfeigned love which means (genuine, sincere, real) of the brethren, see that you love one another with a pure heart fervently, being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the Word of God, which liveth and abides forever.” The love of God is so Great towards us, Love that is very intense, unconditional, because of His goodness, and it is exclusive to us Christians because it flows from God’s love. Can we do that? Can we love like God who send Jesus to carry the cross and died on the cross for the sake of love? For the sake of our eternal lives? “Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is Love.” (1st John 47-8) It flows, that is His nature, LOVE.
The little food that you have, please share, give some of it to your brother or sister that lack, your neighbor. Jesus will repay you. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16). The Light has come into the world, please do not be in darkness, do not live in total darkness. “For men loved darkness rather than light. For everyone practicing evil hates the light, lest his deeds should be exposed.” (John 3:19-20)
