Be Still.

God says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.” The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress/Refuge. (Psalm 46:10-11) (NIV).

Psalm 46:10 is a direct command from God to stop our futile (Incapable) efforts in dealing with things that are His domain. He asks us to put down our weapons of war and stand in awe of Him and His mighty power. As God, He is Sovereign, Faithful, Omnipotent, and unfailing.

God is our refuge in times of trouble. God is ready to help us in the present moment and we can place our trust in Him. There is no need to fear, no matter what happens around us or on the earth. He stands as the helper and comforter.

Psalm 46 is the greatness of God and His power to deliver us from things that are beyond our abilities. No matter what we face in life, God is greater. The greater the things we face in life, the less we can deal with them. We are to stop fighting in our strength and allow God to take His rightful place as Savior and deliverer.

Know that the Lord, He is God! It is He who made us, and we are His; we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture. (Psalm 100:3).

The Book of Proverbs 12:25 tells us that “Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression, but a good word makes it glad.”

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7).

Are you able to surrender all to Jesus? Please surrender all your worries to Him. For He is able to take all your worries and fears, and give you rest, peace, because His yoke is easy, and His burden is light. Jesus will bless you with His peace that surpasses all understanding.

Amen!
