The Multitudes Followed Jesus.

As children of God, we must go to Jesus in faith, He will give us nourishment of heart and soul. In the story of feeding the multitudes, Jesus is telling us or teaching us to love, and not to see things in earthly terms but in heavenly terms.

The disciples were corrected to be in heavenly terms, so we too must learn to be in heavenly terms.

The little boy’s fish and bread were enough and had leftovers.

Sometimes the Lord allows us to go hungry, but to trust in Him who is the overflowing of bread and fish.

Brothers and sisters, over what you have left, allow Jesus to multiply it for you. Please remember the story of Elijah when he multiplied the widow’s oil because she obeyed, baked her little leftover flour for Elijah. God will always overflow what we have left, but we must ask humbly and wait.

Sarah could not wait for the son of the promise, but gave Hagai her servant to Abraham her husband.

Please also note, Jesus started His ministry by turning water into wine during the wedding in Canaan telling us He is the Bridegroom, and we are His Bride.

The Book of Matthew 14:13-21tells us, “When Jesus heard what had happened, He withdrew by boat privately to a solitary place. Hearing of this, the crowds followed him on foot from the towns. When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, He had compassion on them and healed their sick. As evening approached, the disciples came to Him and said, this is a remote place, and it is already getting late, send the crowds away, so they can go to the villages and buy themselves some food, but Jesus replied, they do not need to go away, you give them something to eat. We have here only five loaves of bread and two fish, they answered. Bring them here to me, Jesus said, and He directed the people to sit down on the grass, taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, He gave thanks and broke the loaves, He then gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the people. They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over, the number of those who ate was about five thousand men, besides women and children.

Jesus is the bread that overflows. His love overflows.
