What is Your Redemption Story

There was a woman who fell in love with Jesus, she followed Him, provided for Him, she was at the foot of the cross, and was the first follower of Jesus who saw the Risen Savior.

A true redemption story: Mary Magdalene suffered many infirmities, she was sick, and with many demons, but when she found Jesus, her story changed. She clung unto Him, her First true love.

It is written, “A certain woman who had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities—Mary called Magdalene, out of whom had come seven demons.” (Luke 8:2) (NKJV).

Redemption is the act by which Jesus saved us from the slavery of sin, His death on the cross.

Redemption involves going from one state to another.

From the old man to the new man. “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” (2nd Corinthians 5:17) (NKJV) “knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin. For he who has died has been freed from sin.” (Romans 6:6-7) (NKJV). (Total Transformation).

The book of John tells us Peter and the other disciple ran to the tomb, and the other disciple outran Peter, but did not go in. But when Peter arrived, he went into the tomb and saw the burial cloths that covered His head neatly folded.

When Peter and the other disciple arrived at the tomb, they went from a state of unbelieving to a state of believing. They experienced Christ’s redemption.

My Testimony of Redemption:

I circled around the wilderness for 40 years kissing the wrongs frogs, but Jesus in His mercy that is so rich, had mercy on me. Brought me out of darkness into His marvelous Light, and from the sheepfold to be His servant.

He healed my broken heart, wiped away my tears with His love, gave me strength of mind and unmuted me.

He cleaned me, taught me, mentored me, and guided me till this day. What we call a very bad experience in life is excellent for the Lord because He will never waste any bad life experiences.

My mess is my message.
